Using a CyberSensor with GAGEtrak Pro or Lite

Did you know that you can use the CyberSensor with GAGEtrak to automatically capture environmental conditions via a USB connection? The CyberSensor monitors the temperature and relative humidity of your calibration environment and when you pass a calibration, the CyberSensor data populates the Temperature and Humidity fields in the GAGEtrak calibration record, making your calibration documentation even more thorough. Here's how to set up your CyberSensor in GAGEtrak:

Connect your CyberSensor via the USB port on your PC.
Make sure you can see it in Devices and Printers in your control panel. Depending on your OS, it may appear as an unspecified device, but it should say USB Temp/Humidity Sensor.
Open GAGEtrak.
Navigate to the Configuration Menu -> Settings –> Calibration tab; the CyberSensor Settings section is on the right side.
Click the (+) icon to create a new record and enter the necessary information. Hover your mouse over the (i) icon for more instruction, if necessary. If you do not need to enter correction values, you can leave those set to zero. You can repeat this step for as many CyberSensors as you need.
Save the record.

You're now ready to start using your CyberSensor!
